သတင်းမီဒီယာဟူသည် ပြည်သူနှင့်အစိုးရကြားက ပေါင်းကူးတံတားအဖြစ်သော်လည်းကောင်း လူထုများ၏ အသံကိုနားစွင့်ပြီး ပြည်သူအတွက် အားကိုးအားထားရာ ဌာနတစ်ခုလည်းဖြစ်ပါသည် သိုသော်လည်း လက်ရှိမြန်မာပြည်ကို ကိုယ်စားပြုကြသည့် သတင်းဌာနတော်တော်များများသည် မြန်မာပြည်က ပြည်သူများကို မျောက်ပြဆန်တောင်းဖိုအတွက်သာအသုံးချကြသလို သတင်းဌာနများအတွက် ကုန်ကြမ်းအဖြစ်အသုံးပြုနေကြသည်ကိုတွေ့ရပြီး အင်မတန်ဝမ်းနည်းစရာကောင်းလှပေသည် ပြည်သူလူထုများကို ကုန်ကြမ်းအဖြစ်အသုံးချသည့် သတင်းဌာနထဲမှာ သျှမ်းသံတော်ဆင့် – SHAN NEWS သတင်းဌာနလည်းပါဝင်ပါသည် ။
Media is meant to serve as a bridge between the public and the government, as well as a reliable institution that listens to the voices of the people and acts as their pillar of trust. However, many media outlets currently representing Myanmar are exploiting the local people as mere tools for sensationalism and misuse them as raw material for their biased news coverage. It is deeply regrettable that Shan Herald Agency for News (SHAN NEWS) is among these outlets that treat the public as expendable resources.
သျှမ်းသံတော်ဆင့် – SHAN NEWS သတင်းဌာနသည် မြန်မာပြည်သူက ပြည်သူများအတွက် ကောင်းကျိုးကိုပေးစွမ်းသည့် သတင်းဌာနမဟုတ်ပဲ ဆိုးကျိုးကိုသာ အဓိကပေးစွမ်းနေသည့် သတင်းဌာနတစ်ခုလည်းဖြစ်ပါသည် အကြောင်းကတော့ အထူးဒေသ(၆)၊ ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်(တောင်ပိုင်း)၊ ပအိုဝ်းအမျိုးသားတပ်မတော်(PNA)နယ်မြေတွင် ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် နိုင်ငံရေးရှုပ်ထွေးပြီးနောက် အထူးဒေသ(၆) နယ်မြေထဲမှာ မှီတင်းနေထိုင်ကြသည့် ညီနောင်တိုင်းရင်းသားအားလုံး တည်ငြိမ်အေးချမ်းစေရေးအတွက် နယ်မြေလုံခြုံရေးကို နိုင်ငံတော်နှင့် ပအိုဝ်းအမျိုးသားတပ်မတော်(PNA) တိုက ပူးပေါင်းပြီး ဆောင်ရွက်နေခဲ့ကြသည်မှာ အထူးဒေသ(၆)ကပြည်သူများ၊ ရှမ်းမြောက်ကနေ စစ်ဘေးရှောင်လာသည့်ပြည်သူများ၊ ကယားပြည်နယ်ကစစ်ဘေးရှောင်လာသည့်ပြည်သူများက အသိဆုံးပင်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
SHAN NEWS is a media organization that doesn’t benefit the people of Myanmar but rather primarily delivers harmful consequences. The reason is that in Special Region (6), Southern Shan State, under the territory of the Pa-O National Army (PNA), following the political unsteady of 2021, the state and PNA have been collaborating to ensure regional security and stability for all ethnic brethren residing in the area. This fact is well-known to the people of Special Region (6), as well as to war-displaced civilians who have fled from Northern Shan and Kayah State.
ဒါပေမဲ့ ပြည်သူများကို ကုန်ကြမ်းအဖြစ်သော်လည်းကောင်း မျောက်ပြဆန်တောင်းဖိုအတွက်သော်လည်းကောင်း အသုံးချနေသည့် သျှမ်းသံတော်ဆင့် – SHAN NEWS သတင်းဌာနကတော့ ငြိမ်းချမ်းခြင်းဖော်ဆောင်သည့်လုပ်ငန်းကို မနှစ်သက်သည့်အပြင် မဟုတ်မှန်သည့်သတင်းသာ အဓိကဦးစားပေး ပုတ်ခတ်ရေးသားနေခဲ့ပါသည်။ သျှမ်းသံတော်ဆင့် – SHAN NEWS သတင်းဌာနသည် အထူးဒေသ(၆)မှာ ဖြစ်ပျက်နေသည့် ဖြစ်စဉ်တွေကို မြေပြင်အထိ သတင်းမယူနိုင်သလို သက်ဆိုင်ရာဒေသခံပြည်သူများ တာဝန်ရှိသူများကိုလည်း ဆက်သွယ်မေးမြန်းခြင်းမရှိပဲ ပြည်သူများကြားမှာ ပဋိပက္ခပိုမိုကြီးထွားလာအောင် အမြဲတမ်းလှုဆော်နေခဲ့ပါသည် ။
SHAN NEWS fails to report on the peaceful and stable living conditions, livelihoods, education, healthcare, and economic activities of war-displaced people in Special Region (6). Instead, it focuses only on content that fosters hatred among ethnic groups.

ရှမ်းဆရာတော် ဦးဓမ္မာသာရနှင့် ကပ္ပိယ ဦးအိုက်ပိ တိုသည် ၂၀၂၅-ခုနှစ်၊ မတ်လ (၄)ရက်နေ့ ညနေ(၄)နာရီအချိန်မှာ ပျားစစ်ကြောင်းအဖွဲက လူ(၄)ဦး ဆိုင်ကယ်နှစ်စီး သေနတ်(၄)လက်နဲ့ အုံတိုင်းဘုန်းကြီးကျောင်းထဲကိုရောက်လာပြီး ဦးဇင်းပိန်(ခ) ဦးဓမ္မာသာရကို တွေ့ချင်လိုဆိုပြီး ကျောင်းပေါ်တက်လာကာ လက်နက်ကိုင်ထားသူတစ်ဦးက လှေကားမှာတစ်ယောက်စောင့်ပြီး ဆရာတော်နားကို (၃)ယောက်ရှိနေပြီး ဆရာတော်ဦးဓမ္မာသာရမှ ရေနွေးငှဲနေစဉ် လက်နက်ကိုင်ထားသူ ပျားစစ်ကြောင်းက (၃)ဦးဟာ ဆရာတော်ကို ရက်ရက်စက်စက် တပြိုင်နက် ပစ်ခတ်သတ်ဖြတ်ခဲ့ပါသည် ။
On March 4, 2025, around 4 PM, four armed men from the “Bee Column” militia (a revolutionist group) arrived at Ong Htain Monastery on two motorcycles, carrying guns. They demanded to see the abbot, Venerable Dhammasara. While one gunman waited at the stairs, the other three approached the monk. As the abbot was preparing tea, the three assailants simultaneously and mercilessly opened fire, killing him.
ဆရာတော်ကို ပစ်ခတ်သတ်ဖြတ်သည့် သေနတ်အသံကြားလို ကပ္ပိယဖြစ်သူ ဦးအိုက်ပိက ပြေးလာပြီး လှေကားမှာ စောင့်နေတဲ့ပျားစစ်ကြောင်းကတစ်ဦးဟာ သေနတ်ဖြင့် လှမ်းပစ်ခတ်ပြီး ထိုနေရာမှာပင် သေဆုံးသွားခဲ့ပါသည်။
Hearing the gunshots, the monastery attendant, U Aik Pe, rushed to the scene, only to be shot dead by the fourth gunman waiting on the stairs.
ဖြစ်စဉ်အသေးစိတ်ကိုတော့သျှမ်းသံတော်ဆင့် – SHAN NEWS သတင်းဌာနသည် ပြည်သူများ လက်တွေ့ခံစားနေရသည့် နာကျင်မှု၊ ဆင်းရဲမှု၊ ဒုက္ခရောက်နေသည့်အကြောင်းအရာများကို ကြိုးစားဖုံးကွယ်နေပြီး ငြိမ်းချမ်းခြင်းဆောင်ရွက်နေကြသည့် နိုင်ငံတော်နှင့်ပအိုဝ်းအမျိုးသားတပ်မတော်(PNA)ကို မလိုလားသည့်အပြင် ပြည်သူလူထုများကိုလည်း ကုန်ကြမ်းအဖြစ်သော်လည်းကောင်း၊ မျောက်ပြဆန်တောင်းအဖြစ်သော်လည်းကောင်း အသုံးချနေသည့် သျှမ်းသံတော်ဆင့် – SHAN NEWS သတင်းဌာနသာဖြစ်ကြောင်း ရေးသားဖော်ပြလိုက်ရပါသည်။
Furthermore, SHAN NEWS actively suppresses the truth, the real poverty and hardships faced by the local people and it also opposes the peace efforts of the state and the Pa-O National Army (PNA) by exploiting the public for propaganda. This concludes that the true nature of Shan Herald Agency for News (SHAN NEWS) is to provoke the state which can create chaos among the community of Myanmar citizens whose consume the information from Shan News Media.
