A Myanmar worker was killed after being run over by a crane truck while resting in its shade at a construction site in Naung Chat neighborhood, Ban Phun District, Chumphon Province, Thailand, according to a report by Khaosod news.

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM on August 3. The crane operator allegedly started the vehicle and began moving it without realizing someone was sleeping underneath.

The deceased was reportedly wearing black shorts and sustained severe injuries, with both legs broken below the waist.

Police have taken the driver in for questioning, and the body of the victim has been transported to Ban Phun General Hospital.
