ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်တောင်ပိုင်း ပအိုဝ်းကိုယ်ပိုင်အုပ်ချုပ်ခွင့်ရဒေသ ပင်လောင်းမြို့နယ် ထီဖောင်းကျေးရွာအုပ်စု ထီဝါႏလီႏရွာနှင့်ကောင်မောင်းရွာများ၌ မိုးအဆက်မပြတ်ရွာသွန်းမှုကြောင့် စာသင်ကျောင်းအပါအဝင် လူနေအိမ်များအပျက်အစီးရှိခဲ့ကြောင်းသိရပါသည်။
Due to continuous and heavy rainfall, landslides occurred in Hti Wa Li and Kaung Maung villages under the Hti Faung village tract in Pinlaung Township, part of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone in southern Shan State. Reports confirm that several houses and a school were damaged in the incident.
ဖြစ်စဉ်မှာ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် ဩဂုတ်လ ၂ ရက် (ဝါခေါင်လဆန်း ၉ ရက်) စနေနေ့တွင်(ဝါတွင်းကာလ လပြည့်လကွယ် လဆန်းလဆုတ် ၈ရက်များ၌ကျောင်းပိတ်ပြီး စနေ တနင်္ဂနွေနေ့များမှာ အစားထိုးဖွင့်) နေ့ပိုင်းကျောင်းဆင်းချိန်မတိုင်မီ ကျောင်းပြင်ပသို့အပေါ့သွားစွန့်သည့်ကျောင်းသားနှစ်ယောက်က စာသင်ကျောင်းအနီးရှိတောင်ကမ်းပါးမှ မြေသား ကျောက်တုံးများစတင်ပြိုကျလာသည်ကိုမြင်ပြီး ဆရာမကိုအသိပေး၍ ဆရာမမှ ကလေးများအား အလျင်အမြန်ခေါ်ထုတ်သွားခြင်းကြောင့် ကျောင်းသူကျောင်းသား(၆၅)ယောက်မှာ ဘေးကင်းခဲ့သော်လည်း တောင်ခြေရှိ စာသင်ကျောင်းနှင့် ထီဝါးလီးကျေးရွာအိမ်ခြေ (၁၂၁)၊ ကောင်မောင်းကျေးရွာ အိမ်ခြေ(၁၁၀) ၎င်းနေအိမ်များထဲမှအိမ် ၆လုံးမှာ အကုန်ပျက်စီးသွားခဲ့ပြီး အခြားသောအိမ်များမှာလည်းအပျက်အစီးများစွာရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။
The landslide took place on Saturday, August 2, 2025 (Waxing Day 9 of Wagaung in the Myanmar calendar). As it happened during school hours but before dismissal, two students playing outside noticed soil and rocks starting to fall from a nearby hillside. They quickly informed their teacher, who immediately evacuated the students. Thanks to this quick action, all 65 students were unharmed.However, the school at the foot of the hill sustained damage, along with 121 houses in Hti Wa Li village and 110 houses in Kaung Maung village. Of these, six homes were completely destroyed, while many others suffered varying degrees of damage.
ထီဝါးလီး/ကောင်မောင်းကျေးရွာများမှ ပင်လောင်းမြို့ မွေတော်ဘုရားကြီးကျောင်းသို့ သဘာဝဘေးကို ရှောင်နေရသည့်လူဦးရေမှာ ၅၀၀ ကျော်ခန့်ရှိပြီး ထို့ပြင် ကောင်မောင်း ထီရꩻ ထီငို ထီဝါးလီးကျေးရွာဆက်လမ်းပိုင်းများမှာလည်း မြေပြိုကျမှုကြောင့် သွားလာရေးများခက်ခဲလျက်ရှိနေသေးကြောင်းလည်း သိရပါသည်။
More than 500 people from these two villages are currently taking temporary shelter at the Pinlaung Moe Taw Monastery. Additionally, roads connecting Kaung Maung, Hti Yat, Thi Nyo, and Hti Wa Li villages have been blocked due to landslides, making transportation and travel difficult.

Leaders from the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, including Regional Chief U Khun Yae Htwe, and local humanitarian organizations such as the Pinlaung Red Cross Society , visited the affected areas to provide moral and material support.
Plans are underway to restore transportation infrastructure and rebuild temporary school buildings within a month. Authorities also aim to restore electricity to the affected areas. Efforts will be coordinated in collaboration with the government, local NGOs, and both domestic and international donors.
